Day 1: Fish (50 word story)
“What was that?” I whispered. Silver light from the moon peeked into my room like a ghost ready to haunt.
I slowly crawled to the window sill. The lake was obsidian with ripples of the moon. It almost looked peaceful, but then it rose. I screamed, “That’s not a FISH.”
